My Seven Obsessions

I have seven main obsessions. All right, granted, Emily Rutherford thought of it first. But I have always had seven obsessions, and she made me think about lumping them all together in one category. And, I'm proud to say, putting them on this site was entirely my idea! And no one else's.
Now that I've given Emily credit, I shall list the seven obsessions for you.

My Seven Obsessions
1) Theatre and Acting
2) Singing and Song
3) Mathematics and Science
4) Philosophy and Philosophising
5) Proving People to be Incorrect and Correcting Their Mistakes
6) Water and My Aversion and Attraction To It
7) Reading and Writing

Welcome to my Website!

Hello, tis Meg speaking. I don't know how you got here, but I'm not interested in stalkers, thanks anyway. I'm not THAT famous yet, did you hear that last word? Yet. Someday I hope to match the likes of Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel in renown. They're Broadway stars, FYI. Anyway, I probably know you, if you're here. If not, you can sign the guestbook and announce yourself, and I will know who you are!

Some Minor Details....

This is where I will post updates on the many aspects of my life in general. Please stay tuned while I connect you through the NAACC (North American Afterlife Communication Corps). They will electronically summon your dear Great Atunt Maudie or Uncle Filbert, so they can pinch your cheeks, stun you with their foul breath, and tell you constantly how much you've grown, not to mention hypnotizing you , by boring you to tears, with their dull stories from beyond the grave. I mean... um... -clears throat- Let's try this again. Please have fun and try to hold on to your brain and keep your sanity. I am usually quite a lot for inexperienced people to handle. Thank you and have a nice day!

A Few Basic Things To Keep In Mind

1) Please, no stalkers.
2) I'd love to get to know you if I don't already!
3) Have a lot of fun!

Updates/A Little More About Me...

3/1/2005: I know, I haven't posted in FOR-ever! Sorry, I was rather busy. Today I'm sitting here watching Cabaret over the top of my laptop monitor. Since I have a snow day. I have all the time in the world. And tomorrow school's closed too, because the teachers are there working on their curriculum. Yay! But it means that I have to make a poster for Friday and I have a Latin test the day I get back to school. But that's okay. Even though I can't exactly study with my book at school, she might postpone our quiz/test because none of us got a chance to study, and we're not the only ones taking this test, there are 2 other classes too. So maybe she will. Or, then again, maybe she won't. Anyway, I haven't done anything to this site since a week or two after Wicked. And I don't think I'm going to finish my evaluation of said show, simply because I don't recall all that detail. In the intermission and directly after the show, I made notes, but nothing as detailed as I wrote later, on this site. And almost none of it is in complete, legible sentences. I will update soon, I promise. ASAP, which could end up being tomorrow. But I have a lot of stuff to do now, not least some work around the house, and some homework, and other updates on the Internet.

12/28/04: Hi again!! I am back from NYC. Wow... it was so great. I love that city. I have decided that I will live in the East Village, or the Upper West Side if I can afford it. But I can't, so the East Village it is. Besides, the East Village/Alphabet City area is awesome! I love St. Mark's Place, it's so much fun. There's also this little shop, on Lafayette, I think, that's called "Screaming Mimi's," and it rocks. It's this clothing store that sells all kinds of cool clothes, and some really awesome vintage ones too. Some, coincidentally, are a little bit what I could see Mimi wearing on her nights off from the club, or casual days lounging around the loft. (Laughs.)
Anyway, I promised a full description of Wicked, so it's there, on the "Theatre" page. How appropriate.

12/25/04: I am a crazy little 8th grader from over the rainbow. I love Broadway and the Big Apple. I will live there and perform on Broadway someday. It's doubtful, but oh well. I am addicted to all things Broadway, and just recently received a large book entitled Show Tunes: The Songs, Shows, and Careers of Broadway's Major Composers. It is incredible! In addition I have received a 96-CD case, very useful. I also got the Original Broadway Cast Recordings of Wicked, Mamma Mia!, and Thoroughly Modern Millie, as well as the book Wicked and the musical Wicked Vocal and Piano Selections, and THREE TICKETS TO SEE WICKED AT THE GERSHWIN THEATRE IN NEW YORK CITY, IN TWO DAYS!!!!!!! I will post a complete analysis when I get back. I also got a warm fuzzy scarf, mangas, a calendar, and some books. Enjoy the site...!

Thank you for listening. Have a great day!!
